Vises

Well, no great photos up yet. I do, however, have this scan of the Thompson A and Ultra instruction sheet that came with the vises.

This is a vise I use for tying on the plane, when I'm using my Minimalist Fly Tying Kit. I bought it for £5 in an antique store in London. You can slip your ring finger through the circle and use it in your hand, with the base attached or not. The jaws aren't the greatest, but you can tie down to an 18 without too much trouble.
